Weather mini 3.4 brings weather back to your wrist.

This update brings the Watch app into Weather mini, and adds AQI for everyone.

Both updates are free to use.

The Watch App Is Now Included

Weather mini started on Apple Watch six years ago as a standalone app. It was the original Weather mini, before the Mac, iPhone, and iPad versions followed.

This year, we are finally bringing them together. With Weather mini 3.4, the Watch app is now included in Weather mini.

The Watch app still works independently on Apple Watch, so you can check the weather from your wrist even when you are not actively using the iPhone app.

Apple Watch is often the fastest place to check the weather. Weather mini 3.4 keeps that experience quick and simple, with current conditions, weather artwork, hourly details, precipitation, and other useful details close by.

AQI for Everyone

Weather mini 3.4 also adds Air Quality Index support for all users.

AQI is available in almost all regions supported by the app. Weather mini automatically uses the UK or US AQI format when appropriate, so the number matches the local air quality scale you are likely to expect.

Color and category labels are useful for a fast signal, but the number matters too. It makes air quality easier to compare when you are planning a walk, commuting, exercising outside, or deciding whether to open the windows.

With the AQI number shown alongside the air quality category, Weather mini gives you both: a quick reading and enough detail to understand the current conditions.

AQI also appears in Morning Brief and Evening Forecast, so you can see air quality alongside the rest of the day’s weather summary.
