We love adding new things to Weather mini, but not every update needs a new button.

Recently, two small improvements have been taking shape in the background. You probably will not notice either of them right away. That is actually the idea.

Fresher weather on your wrist

A complication should be simple: raise your wrist and see the latest weather. You should not have to open the app first.

Complications now update more reliably when the information on your watch face starts to get old. Day and Night complications also refresh more often throughout the day.

There is no new setting. It should just work better.

More chances to catch the rain

Weather can change quickly. A forecast in the morning may look very different by the afternoon.

For Plus users, the upcoming forecast is now checked several times during the day, with extra attention to rain and snow. If it changes later, the app can check again instead of treating the morning forecast as the whole story.

This gives it more chances to warn you before the rain arrives. If heavier rain is expected later, a new alert can also reflect that change.

Small updates, every day

These changes do not look exciting in a screenshot. Most people may never know they are there.

But weather is part of everyday life. A fresher complication or a better-timed alert can make a small but real difference.

The small things will keep getting our attention. You may never notice these updates, but we hope you can feel the difference in everyday use.
